The final results of this year’s comprehensive exam showed the success of all eight students of the university college of cadastral and geophysical sciences in the field specialization. Successful students are from the first graduating class of the college they started two years ago. For his part, the Dean of the College of Geography, Brigadier General Dr. Awni Al-Khasawneh congratulated the successful students on the comprehensive exam and wished them further progress and success, indicating that this reflects the quality of education in the college and the quality of its outputs. He explained that this achievement is a certificate to emphasize the excellence of the faculty and its specialties and educational and applied means, and members of its teaching staff. And Dr. Al Khasawneh that the college has all the capabilities of the teaching staff with high experience, modern equipment, software and laboratories specialized in teaching the middle university diploma of two years in the fields of diploma area, geographic information systems and remote sensing in line with the rapid developments in this era. He pointed to what distinguishes this college from other colleges due to its presence inside the building of the geographical center, which includes qualified and specialized human cadres with extensive experience in the field of cadastral sciences. Al-Khasawneh noted that the establishment of this college is considered an important qualitative leap in the field of academic and applied education, as a result of the increasing need of local, Arab and Gulf markets for engineers and technicians with a high degree of training, competence, theoretical and practical knowledge and skills for such disciplines.
